First Baptist Students

First Baptist desires to equip 7th-12th grade students to glorify God by knowing Him and making Him known.

Rooted is our weekly gatherings on Wednesday and Sunday Nights. We strive to be a gospel-centered ministry by making the word of God known through teaching and discipleship. As a result of knowing God, we aim to help students and families make God known to others by equipping them to take the gospel to their friends and neighbors.
Each week students can expect fun, friends, and most importantly a message from God's Word. This semester we will be covering topics like shaping our faith called Now Showing, a series called Character that Counts as we continue to cover characters in the New Testament and Old, reminding us our stories of our faith and how it got here and why its important to tell the world, and we will end the semester with a biblical view at mental health in a series called, Inside Out.

On Sunday nights we dive a little deeper. Our topics will be challenging the students to:
Memorize scripture.
How to evangelize and the importance of evangelism.
Explain the Gospel to a 5 year old.
We will also be challenging the students to lead their own Wednesday night before the semester is over!
